Another Call

Another call from New Leaf Guy and this time he left a voice mail to call him back.  He sounded annoyed, LOL, imagine how I feel about all that flaking.  Yes, I chose not to answer, again.  I've heard enough of his blathering and he doesn't deserve me answering a two minute phone call (or however long it would end up being).

If he really wanted me to talk to him, he'd follow through on some of his broken promises.  For example, he could email me his Google friend's contact information, apologize, send me that Valentine's gift I never asked for, et al.

Men and women think differently.  I thought I was speaking "guy" when I told him his lack of follow through is a serious problem.

  1. Damn typos... It's hard to tell from your posts, but have you been completely forthcoming about how you feel, your expectations, etc.? It seems a little cruel to just cut him off like that without talking things through. Like you said, men and women think differently, and it's not fair to hold him to YOUR expectations if he's not sure what they are. I would be irritated if I were him, assuming I don't really understand where the cold shoulder is coming from.

    1. I told him I was really frustrated with his lack of follow through and provided examples. So, I am assuming he knows why I'm busying myself with other much more pressing manners. Also, I need time to simmer down, am I the only woman who does this?

    2. How did he respond to your frustration and the examples when you told him?

  2. Agree with TJ, it was very hard to tell from your posts if you actually like the guy, or if dating is just some game you want to 'win.' Nice guys don't like indifferent girls who give them the cold shoulder because they're following The Rules (such a dumb book). Nice guys like nice girls. Unless you want an aggressive alpha jerk.

    1. I did like him until I realized he was treating me like sh*t by being flaky and talking a good game
