New York Blizzard

People in New York are looking for blizzard dates, LOL.  Gotta give them something for creativity and bravery.  Would you want to 1) go out in that weather and/or 2) get stuck with someone you barely know because of the weather?  I'd choose neither

Also, over two feet of snow?!?!?!?  I'm glad I didn't move back to New York.  Sorry, New Yorkers.  I hope you got to stay home from work.

CMB Pickiness By Degree

I think 20 people have emailed me this Coffee Meets Bagel post on pickiness and degrees.  From looking at this, these friends have said maybe we are single because we have masters degrees.  Apparently, years ago, we should have been working on our "MRS" degrees with our BAs.

Blog Facelift

I've been told by a girlfriend that my blog needs a facelift.  Anyone out there have ideas?  Talking about design, but if there is anything you are dying to know or really want me to discuss, let's hear it!

Trying Too Hard

I was in CVS late last night and felt someone staring at me.  I took a look and thought, GROSS!  I went into a different aisle and he followed me.  I ran to the front where the registers were and got the f*ck out as fast as I could.

I don't think he was dangerous, just gross and someone I'd like to never see again.  He's an older guy, late 50s or early 60s and we met at a combined San Francisco Ballet, Opera, and Symphony party.  I remember meeting him, he pulled a humongous fake diamond toy ring out of his blazer and "proposed" to me.  Yes, trying too hard!  And, it was NOT funny.  He also kept trying to put his arm around me and whisper in my ear - a good way to lose an arm and get a black eye.

Selfies And Psychopathic Tendencies

LOL, saw this article about guys who take a lot of selfies having psychopathic tendencies.  I've known a few, this article could be right!

First Official Date Of The New Year

First official date of the new year.  Went to dinner over the weekend with a new guy.  He's 50s, single, and divorced.  If he asks me out again, I will go.

Facebook Causing Breakups

I remember seeing articles about Facebook causing breakups, an example is attached.  I can absolutely see this being the case.  Think about 20 years ago, you would have no idea if your husband/boyfriend was making new friends who happen to be women.  Today?  You can see all of it, every second of every day.  Even if you 100% trusted your man, you wouldn't be somewhat uneasy?  I would want to know how he met these women and why he feels the need to see all her photos, comments, et al.

One of my girlfriends won't add her husband on Facebook because she doesn't want to cause concern or be concerned.  Too many questions can arise from ambiguous posts - Who were you there with?  I thought you cancelled lunch with me because you were buried, but you checked in at that restaurant?  Who's that girl you just added and how do you know her?

It's Delightful

Despite our enormous age difference, it's always delightful when I see New Older Guy.  No pervs ;-) not like that, I mean conversing, guffawing, et al.

No Dinner

Smart Guy, who I haven't seen in two years has started emailing and texting a lot.  Today, he asked me out to dinner.  The funny part is that he's acting like I haven't been unresponsive for the past two years.  I will continue to be unresponsive.  I will not go to dinner with him and have no plans of seeing him ever again.

A New Older Guy

A new year, a New Older Guy might want to be more than friends.  We have known each other for a while through business and he appears to be nice, though I think it could be because he wants to hookup.  He's literally old enough to be my dad.
