Did I post this already?  It's making all over fb again

  1. She sums up the men so well with "There are two groups of guys. A lot of them are 23 to 28. They are into their career, and most are quite immature. And then there are a ton of early-forties guys who never married. They have waited and were starting companies and then they hit their forties and realized,”Now I’m ready to get married and have kids.”

While the early 40s guys sound ideal (even if a bit too old for some of us), they all seem to want a 25 yr-old woman. WTF.

    1. I've been meeting a lot of 23-28 year olds. They think I'm around their age, which is flattering, but I'm not interested and I think they freak out when they figure out I am in my mid 30s haha.

What do the early 40s guys do when they can't get the 25 year olds? Wait until they are 50s or eventually think 30s is okay?

  2. why men always aim for mid-late 20s year olds first? I'd say same reason women generally prefer men who are tall and well-off enough to afford a $80k engagement ring - physical and cultural expectations.

    1. I didn't ask why they go for 25 year olds, I asked, what they do when they can't get the 25 year olds?

    2. Same thing everyone does 1) keep trying or always looking to trade up - worst case there are always sugar daddy relationships 2) give up and focus on self - especially if you've been single or divorced that long 3) settle or be resentful 4) understand self and change expectations.

  3. The article is spot on with the Bay Area dating scene! I am in my early 30s and the only messages I get from online dating is either from 22-25 yr old or 40+... I guess all the men in 30s are either taken or not looking for relationships.
