No, I Don't Think So

I love it when a guy wants to meet in a coffee shop right under his office (which happens to be about 2 miles from where I am).  No, I don't think so.  I suggested at our midpoint.  Let's see what he does with that.  Btw, yes, at this point, I would not be surprised if he simply disappears.

  1. A lot of people don't always realize how rude that is, especially men. I try to preempt it by telling men exactly what neighborhoods work for me, and let them choose the exact venue.

Once, a guy kept insisting on meeting in the far west neighborhood of SF and when I got him to compromise, he sheepishly admitted he lived in that western neighborhood and never really ventured elsewhere, despite living in SF for years. That itself was a reason not to give him a second date.

    1. I feel like these are things their parents should have taught them (the whole how to be a gentleman thing). Lol, your far west SF guy, ugh

    2. I just don't think they consider that a gentleman thing. I 'm sure they are no different with friends. It's annoying but it's something that can be fixed with subtle training.

    3. When I encounter these guys, I always think no chivalry and not interested enough (I've had dates with guys who have driven hours up to SF from the valley

    4. Guys in the valley have no choice, there's no women there for them to date.

    5. Is it really that bad down there? Every time I've been at Santana Row and Palo Alto, seen plenty of ladies.

Re: these guys, I'm fine with that, if a guy insists on a girl meeting him where it's convenient for him, fine, he can meet up with that other girl (cause it's not going to be me, lol)
