No Coincidence

I don't think it is a coincidence that THIS many guys are trying to take me on a last minute date this weekend.  Are guys more bothered by this Valentine's Day thing?  I have at least two out of towners that want to meet.  I also have a guy who has been emailing for months and is suddenly very interested in seeing me tomorrow night.  Whatever, NO.

Ohhhh, I got it!  Guys think it's easier to get laid this weekend (because most girls are easier this weekend)!

  1. Dumb holiday...we should be worried about the days of the year that weren't invented by Hallmark.

  2. My mom has a date tomorrow night too, lol. I wouldn't totally rule it out to be solely sexual interest. I think men crave love and companionship as much as women do and they don't want to be alone.

  3. Of course we crave love and companionship as much as women do. But really, who the fuck scrambles to find a date for Valentine's day? If you are then you probably care way too much what other people think of you.

But that makes me wonder, I've messaged a few girls on OKC this week and I didn't even realize the date. I hope they don't think I'm trolling them just to not be lonely. Stupid fucking day.

    1. Thanks for sharing! SF is #1 for lowest likelihood of a relationship, no surprise here. Why didn't I know this before I moved out here?

    2. It's funny how some of the worst places to live are the best places to form a relationship. While some of the best places to live are the worst places to form a relationship. Me thinks there's a pattern here.

Think about it, where's the worst place to be single? A small town or city with little to do and is not very hip. Where's the best place to be single? I think the answer is obvious.

    3. Also, when people have many options, they have difficulty making a decision (this has been illustrated in many studies). So, let's say I live in a small town with five single guys, I would simply pick the best one (for me) rather than one out of thousands

  6. (I'm a guy) I think it's just "Love is in the air" thing. It's easier to be distracted from the chemistry when everyone around is chasing some routine stuff and hard to stay away from the excitement everyone shares :)
