Ugh
I try to avoid bars and clubs, especially on a weekend. They are usually crowded and filled with very drunk patrons. I met up with a friend at bar over the weekend. A random guy grabbed my *ss on the dance floor. It was a full on five finger (with palm) grab, not a back of the hand graze. What an *sshole and I hate bars.

I know right?! Sorry for that experience. Every time I go out on a weekend it reminds me why I don't go out on the weekend!
ReplyDeleteYeah, usually filled with non SF people. The happy hour crowd on the weekdays is much better. There has to be SOMEWHERE where young single professionals hang out!
ReplyDeleteThoughts? Advice?
Neighborhood choice is everything! I stay away from the Marina, Polk St, and SOMA which is bridge and tunnel central (the trashy kind). But Mission, Tenderloin, NOPA, Divis, Haight, I see more fairly normal laid back SF guys.
DeleteShhhhhhh, we don't want that getting out. :P
DeleteOk J, I won't send my pack of gorgeous relationship-minded single girlfriends friends to these places ;)
DeleteHahah! By all means ladies, feel free to come visit sleepy Upper Haight. Alembic makes the best drinks in the city. :D
DeleteThe first bar I ever went to in SF was Alembic. I have a lot of sentimental value attached to it, and the drinks are pretty bad ass. Though it's no Smuggler's Cove....
DeleteThanks for the ideas!
