This Could Explain It

Yeah, this could explain the older guy thing I've been encountering.  And yes, at least two of the older guys who have approached me are indeed millionaires.  It's hard not to be when you own tons of commercial property, are a partner at a big law firm, or are a partner at a Private Equity firm.

    I think it's really, really simple. Most older guys want younger women, millionaires or not. They already have an ex-wife who is around their age. If people don't believe this, try being a woman over 40 on a dating site. It is a vast wasteland, except for guys who are 60 and over who will contact you because again, you are younger than them. Guys in their 40s and 50s will say they are looking for women 25-40 (at the most). Of course there are exceptions, but very few.

      Not that I'm bitter or anything, hahaha. If Chris Hemsworth showed up and wanted to date me, I wouldn't care what ANYBODY thought about the age gap.

    Honestly the response from either side isn't surprising. Guys want to get rich so they can bang hot young women. Young hot women want to find a rich man so they can have the carefree lifestyle without working for it. This dynamic is about as old as human culture.

      Honestly it's not a very interesting topic to me. This is all about very superficial people who don't care about falling in love. IMO, if money ever enters into the equation of falling in love with someone then you're doing it wrong.

    Not surprising. Even biologically, your animal instinct is to pick a mate who will help prolong your bloodline - this is why men like girls with hips. A younger woman signals more years of fertility - even if kids are far from his mind, those base instincts don't go away.

    As J said too, a lot of young women who are not that into their careers would love a rich man to take care of them. And the rich men get a hot young girl. Win-win. I don't want a man who wants young ditzes.
