Dating Coach
Many guys in San Francisco could use a dating coach. I'm often tempted to offer constructive feedback when I go on a terrible date. I don't do it. The worst thing is, I don't think many of these SF men are aware that their dating skills suck.
I don't see the harm in letting a guy know why you're not interested if you genuinely want them to be better at dating (for the sake of other women). But of course part of me is like, "Not my job to improve you for some other woman!" Haha.
Usually, I'm not interested because there's no spark. I believe most people are more willing to hear constructive criticism when they are looking for feedback. I think they'd get very defensive if I just offered it up, LOL
Unsolicited advice isn't usually appreciated, especially from a stranger. I'd save the advising for guy friends. One of my closest guy friends is someone who messaged me a lot on OkC until I had to tell him quite honestly that he wasn't my type (height and religion), but he was so gracious abut it and we struck up a friendship. 5 years later, we still swap love and life advice.

ReplyDeleteThat's awesome that you two were able to become friends! Hope he has found someone with your help!
