He may want to milk this till he drops dead. Think about it before you become too enamored with the idea of a "much older" dude :) Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865927790050521161.post-8281134953321150562014-12-16T12:50:48.616-08:002014-12-16T12:50:48.616-08:00Sorry if this posted twice, Blogger is so weird so...Sorry if this posted twice, Blogger is so weird sometimes. Here's my comment:

The graph isn't showing correlation or even a prediction. It's saying that people with a large age gap are X% more likely to split up when compared to same-age couples (who are also divorcing). It seems the article is unfairly drawing conclusions.

Frankly, I think a big age gap also means gaps in wealth, life stage, and energy. THOSE items contribute to divorce, not just simply being different ages.Sabrina!https://www.blogger.com/profile/11129492543488938085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865927790050521161.post-32133455340096089282014-12-15T17:26:55.299-08:002014-12-15T17:26:55.299-08:00I can imagine 40 and 60. Or, that's what I'd hope if I were in this situation haha.

You are right, it would be passionate love of his statusAdventuresaurus Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11697183583983292564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865927790050521161.post-46282502937351979062014-12-15T14:38:35.260-08:002014-12-15T14:38:35.260-08:00Can you imagine sleeping with the 70 year old when...Can you imagine sleeping with the 70 year old when you're only 50? Especially, considering that you will marry him not because of passionate love but his status (assumption based on your previous posts)... but then, again, it could be passionate love for his status... or you will ditch him by then? oh, but he may make you sign the prenup!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865927790050521161.post-72480539569996363882014-12-15T13:17:01.273-08:002014-12-15T13:17:01.273-08:00Sorry, TJSorry, TJAdventuresaurus Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11697183583983292564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865927790050521161.post-78898288778157316742014-12-15T11:20:07.834-08:002014-12-15T11:20:07.834-08:00I didn't read that whole article - got one par...I didn't read that whole article - got one paragraph in and decided it's bullshit. I agree with you, AG, and also think there are so many other factors that go into whether or not someone will get divorced. I think I posted a couple of links in a comment here a a bit ago... one of them was this:

http://thephilosophersmail.com/relationships/how-we-end-up-marrying-the-wrong-people

That said, I married someone my age (we are under 2 months apart). We met at 22 years and married at 29. Divorced less than 3 years later.TJhttp://www.sweatsarebetterthansuits.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865927790050521161.post-34299956590725354372014-12-14T20:28:20.214-08:002014-12-14T20:28:20.214-08:0035-3635-36Adventuresaurus Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11697183583983292564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865927790050521161.post-40577920749328465942014-12-14T18:59:31.300-08:002014-12-14T18:59:31.300-08:00How old are you AG if you don't mind me asking...How old are you AG if you don't mind me askingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
